VESTA-028 allows you to integrate wired devices into VESTA radio alarm control panels. For example, you can control and program scenarios such as starting a wired pump in the event of a flood. Wiring the VESTA-028 module to the alarm inputs and outputs of DAHUA IP cameras of the 3 series or higher allows you to activate the alarm and capture a video clip in the VESTA alarm system. Your Dahua cameras thus become detectors that also allow you to create scenarios.
VESTA-028 is for Integrating Wired Devices into Wireless Networks. It is a DI/DO module that integrates wired devices into wireless networks to create automated responses and improves security and convenience. The DI/DO module has built-in digital input and output terminals. It can be connected to a single sensor, switch or appliance to receive an on/off command from the control panel via DO and return the current status via DI to the control panel. It can also be connected to separate devices. With the Home Automation rule set in the Panel, the device connected to its DI point can be turned into an event trigger, and its DO point into an event responder. When “Input Follower Mode” is selected in the control panel, the DO terminal is interconnected with the DI terminal, and the device in the DO terminal will be activated by the trigger of the device in the DI terminal.
